1 Mr Sparrow & StudiOH! team up, and you’re invited. on Thu Jul 31, 2014 8:32 am

Win a place in a workshop to make your own tea towel! Plus sample some experimental kegs at Little Creatures, shop at the Laneway Night Markets and visit Anya Brock’s latest exhibition.
1. Mr Sparrow & StudiOH! team up, and you’re invited.
Mr Sparrow and studiOH! are teaming up for a fun night of nibbles, drinks, giveaways, discounts, and a workshop with the studiOH! ladies. Happening on Wednesday 30th January between 6-8pm, Anna and Eko will teach you how to print your own personalised tea towel using a variety of techniques, and you’ll get to keep your towel at the end of the night. The cost of taking part in the mini workshop will be $15 and you can sign up on the night.
There’ll also be sweet and savoury homemade goods to snack on, drinks, discounts in the store, and giveaways from both Mr Sparrow and studiOH!, including the chance to win a spot in the workshop on the night. Even if you don’t take part in the workshop, you’re still welcome to attend and enjoy the music, nibbles and offers in the store!
We Love Perth readers have the chance to win one of 5 spots in the workshop just by sending an RSVP! To win just email with ‘Workshop Evening’ in the subject line, and you’ll be notified on Friday 25th January if you’ve won. Good luck!

2. Sample Little Creatures’ experimental kegs.
Just in case there weren’t enough reasons to celebrate payday at Little Creatures, every Thursday an experimental keg gets cracked by the staff at the Brewhouse bar. The brewers are tinkering with the original Pale ale recipe with subtle variations, like double fermenting or using different hops. A different mini keg is opened at 4pm every Thursday for you to taste. As a bonus, on Australia Day there will be a selection of experimental brews that you can taste and the public will select a favourite.

3. OnWilliam’s Laneway Night Markets return.
This Saturday and Sunday evenings will see Hook and Lock Lanes in Northbridge come alive with market stalls filled with handmade goodness. There will be over 50 stalls featuring local art, fashion and food. The markets will run from 4-10pm on both Sat 26 & Sun 27 Jan. The lanes run parallel with (and just east of) William Street, between Aberdeen and James Streets.

4. Anya Brock’s new exhibition opens tomorrow night.
The latest works by acclaimed local artist Anya Brock, Baby Don’t Save Me will be on display at the new Feast Your Eyes Gallery from 25 January to 6 February. Fresh from her month long journey through downtown Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Brock presents a body of work that is different to, harsher and rougher than her previous pieces, a true reflection of her landscape.
Opening night is 6-8 pm, Friday 25 January and the exhibition runs until Wednesday 6 February. It’s all happening at Feast Your Eyes Gallery, 4/64 Adelaide Street, Fremantle.
