I absolutely have no idea of French barring bits and pieces here and there courtesy of the Adams Family. But this is a car that seems to be a street concept and it has quite a bit of flair and plenty of French flair attached to it. The Peugeot Moustique I assume translates in to ‘Mystique’ in English or even ‘Majestic’. As I told you, I have no clue about the translation but it sure as hell looks like a car to carry yourself around.
It seems there are plenty of Peugeot Concept cars these days and this one adds to the long line with each one having its own unique and special feature. The Moustique is a two-seater and has a wonderful see-through dome on top and I have always personally adored cars styled like this. The reason for it being the dome offers both the cover in the rain and the see-through freedom of glass. That I feel is a lot better than even the convertible.
The car was designed by Alejandro Arias, who studies mechanical engineering in Argentina and he visualizes a car that is a fun street concept. He sure seems to have achieved the required results! Now after all that I hope Moustique is indeed French!
