Personality:: Verity is the kind of girl that always has a smile on her face. She's fun to be around, and very down-to-earth, despite her music career. She has her flaws (everyone does), but she tries not to let them get ahead of her. Unlike most Siren beings, she doesn't feel the need to manipulate others thoughts, though this does not mean that she doesn't use her voice to her own benefit sometimes. To her enemies, she is neither mean nor rude; she just doesn't acknowledge them. Though, if someone she doesn't like strikes up a conversation with her, she does her best to not be a jerk. She is not afraid to fight for herself or her friends, though, and she is not easily walked upon... In saying this, if someone were to hurt her physically or emotionally, she would tend to pity them more than herself.
Bio:: Born to a Siren and a Vanyar Elf, Verity had a strange upbringing. She lived with her father, for her mother didn't feel the need to pay attention to her child. She wasn't bitter about it though, for her father raised her to love all creatures, no matter what they have done to you.
As a young child, she realized that she had the strange ability to "talk" to animals. Her father was sure it was because her mother was a Siren, who had an amazing control of her voice. Though, he did not give up the idea that it was also because of him, and his calm demeanor; animals did not fear where he walked.
As she grew, Verity grew quite fond of the sea, and of stories of sailors and pirates and fierce battles. Any moment she could find time, she would venture to the sea, and just listen to the waves. Her father did not understand why she had grown so attached to it; he preferred to spend his time in the woodlands and mountains. But, never the less, he let her do as she pleased.
As a teenager, Verity learned to control her abilities of her voices hypnotic abilities. She was discovered by a local recording agency, who decided she was going to be the "next big thing". She's had a relatively slower climb compared to most musical artists, because she refuses to capture her audiences attention with her hypnosis...
