HEAD element contains a lot of important information , such as document type, language coding , JavaScript and VBscript functions and variables , search engine keywords and content tips . You can use the VIEW-HEAD CONTENT or HTML inspector (F10) to view its contents.
To element into the HEAD section of the document please choose OBJECT panel HEAD
Here's what some of the properties HEAD element:
Meta: It can record information about the current page, such as character encoding , author, copyright , and keywords. Can also be used to provide information to the server , such as deadlines and page refresh interval .
Attribute: Specify whether to include page description META tag information (NAME) or HTTP header information (HTTP EQUIV).
Value: Specify the type of information provided . Some values are already defined , there is a special property inspector in DW . For example description ( description ), keyword ( keyword ), refresh ( refresh ) and so on. You can also specify any other value , such as : creationdate ( creation date ), document ID ( document number ) and level ( level ) and so on .
Content: The actual content. Such as: If you specify a level ( grade ) of Value ( value ) , then the Content may be beginner ( junior ), intermediate ( middle ), advanced ( advanced ) .
Title: The page title is displayed in the browser's title bar .
Keywords: Many popular search engine can automatically read the Keywords Meta tag content , and use that information to build the index pages in its database .
