You will need this image to complete this tutorial
1. Open this image in Photoshop and click image=>image size. Set the size to 750 pixels wide by 488 high.

4. Click Filter=> sharpen=> Sharpen edges

6. Click Filter=> Stylize=>GLowing Edges
7. Set foreground color to #00FF00 and add a layer, layer1. Select your brush tool set to a 9 hard brush.
8. Click in the center front just one ring in from the edge of your space ship figure in the black. Now moving at about 60 + pixel interval, paint single dots around that ring till the ring disappears in the back on both sides.
9. Insert another layer. On layer 2, Using the same brush and color, click around the same ring, 1/3 the way between the dots you did in the previous layer.
10. insert another layer called layer 3 and using the same brush, insert dots in the remaining gaps.
11. Turn off the eye on layer 2 and layer 3 so only the background, background copy and layer 1 are on.
12. Click back on your background copy. Select the elliptical marquee tool set at a fixed size of 630 pixels wide by 400 high. Click on your canvas and left click and hold in the middle of the marquee to move it over the space craft.. Click the mask button on the bottom of the Layers palette. right click on the mask and set mask to selection.
13. Turn off the background and insert a layer right above it. Click edit=> fill and fill with black. Insert a new layer and Click Edit=> fill and fill with 50% gray at 100% opacity.
14. Click Filter=> Noise. Set the noise to 20 % Gaussian, monochromatic.
15. Click Filter=> Blur=> Radial Blur. Set the blur to 100%, Zoom, Best.
16. Click Filter=>Render=> Lens flare. Set the lens flare to 125%, 50-300 mm zoom. Repeat this process locating the lens flare over the cabin and on the left side of the saucer.
17. Switch to Image Ready.
18. Open the animation panel. Duplicate current layer to make frame 2. Turn Layer 1 eye off, and turn on layer 2 eye. Duplicate Frame 2 to make frame 3. Turn Layer 2 eye off, and turn on layer 3 eye.
19. Crop using your marquee tool to surround the space ship. then click Image=> Crop.
20. Resize by clicking image => image size. Half the height and width.
21. Save optimized as your gif by clicking File=> Save optimized.
